Stroop Club
develops and offers organic certified and all plant based stroopwafels, syrups and stroopwafel related products. Our mission is to show cultural and traditional foods can also be produced in a sustainable and ethical way, (veganized) without compromising texture, flavor and culture.
We're looking for a natural, organic, vegan protein to keep our gluten free stroopwafels together.
Stroopwafels are made from a dough, pressed and baked in two iron plates, sliced open to be filled with caramel and sandwiched back to together. This process makes them vulnerable and easy to crumble if there's not enough protein / gluten to hold them together. The original recipes use eggs and gluten, our gluten free recipe uses a gluten free flour blend, eggs and xanthan gum, now we need to find a sustainable replacer for the eggs that doesn't have flavor, doesn't contain gluten, doesn't change color and could be certified organic.
